RICHARD EUGENE OGLESBY
Richard Oglesby, 86 of Southaven, MS passed away at his home on March 19, 2022. He was born to the late Billie and Viola Oglesby on January 16, 1936 in Shelby County. He proudly served as Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corp until August of 1961 and retired from Ralston Purina in 1998.
Richard enjoyed gardening, motorcycle riding, and woodworking. He loved talking and telling stories to anyone and always let you know exactly what he thought. He leaves behind a son, Keith Oglesby of Como, MS, many lifelong friends and wonderful neighbors who all enjoyed his joking nature.
Nu Way Funeral and Cremation has compassionately been in charge to help the family honor Richard's request for no services or memorials.
